An early morning not so long ago I stepped off a plane with a huge smile and the adrenaline bubbling in me. I had just seen New Zealand from above! For the first time I set foot in this country I did a scenic flight for 50 minutes. And trust me.. It is better from above! Or let’s say, immensely different than from the ground.
The flight left at 5.30 in the morning, to capture the sunrise from the air. There we a bit of clouds, but I still managed to take some pictures. We flew in the Mackenzie region, over Lake Tekapo, Mount Cook National Park, right in between the mountains. I adore the mountains with my feet on the ground, but I was just totally in awe seeing the scenery from above. Looks like I was visiting another planet.
What do you think?
